The Prime Minister’s Office met with SNC Lavalin officials over a dozen times and discussed a deal to stop prosecuting charges of over a $100 million in fraud and bribery;
The Prime Minister’s Office discussed the special deal with then-Attorney General, Jody-Wilson Raybould, who refused to direct prosecutors to make the deal;
A month later, the Prime Minister removed her as Attorney General;
The former Attorney General says she cannot reveal what happened because of solicitor-client privilege—which the Prime Minister (as the client) can waive;
We hereby call on the Prime Minister to waive privilege and let her speak.
