Annual General Meeting

November 28, 2020 - 10:00 am - 12:00 noon

As authorized by National Council and the South Surrey-White Rock Electoral District Association a virtual Annual General Meeting will be held by an online "Zoom" conference meeting and by teleconference starting at 10:00 am on Saturday November 28, 2020.

This year's Annual General Meeting is being held in this manner due to the current Covid-19 health public health orders and directives of the National Council. The Electoral District Association Constitution permits the holding of our AGM in this manner.

Members in good standing of the South Surrey-White Rock Conservative Party of Canada Electoral District Association must register online through our website or by sending their name name, address, telephone number, and email address to our mailbox at 800 - 15355 24th Ave Surrey B.C. V4A 2H9 by no later than Saturday November 21, 2020.

In order to become a “Registered Participant” for the 2020 AGM you are required to register not later than seven (7) full days in advance, by completing the required registration information. That means we must have received your complete registration information by Saturday November 21, 2020. You must provide your name, address, telephone number, and email address to us in order to be registered for the AGM.  All registrants eligible to attend the AGM will then later receive the information about how to attend the AGM (i.e. both the Zoom platform conference internet login details and the phone in conference call details) at least 24 hours prior to the time and date for the AGM.

Current members in good standing of the South Surrey-White Rock Conservative Party of Canada Electoral District Association who have registered first will be then eligible to attend the AGM remotely by internet or by telephone, are eligible to vote, and may be nominated or nominate other members to the EDA Board of Directors. Nominations may be emailed to our President Bob Gray at [email protected] and they close at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday November 26, 2020. (Please note that we currently have sixteen nominations received for the maximum sixteen number of director seats which can be filled this year.) Directors are expected to volunteer their time throughout the year, do volunteer work during an election campaign and to donate if they are able to our Electoral District Association.
