NOTICE OF 2025 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

As a member of the Conservative Party of Canada and resident of the South Surrey - White Rock Riding, you are cordially invited to the SSWR Conservative Association's joint 2025 Annual General Meeting and Delegate Selection Meeting for the 2026 Conservative Convention. According to the constitution, participants must have held a valid membership for the 21 days preceding the meeting or a membership that expired within the previous ninety (90) days, provided that the member pays the appropriate membership renewal fee “at the door”.
ID Required:
- One original piece of identification issued by a Canadian federal, provincial or territorial government agency containing the member's photograph and one which contains the member's address or
- Two original pieces of identification, both of which contain the member's name, one of which contains the member's photograph and one of which contains the member's address,
The business to be conducted will include the election of directors, selection of delegates for the 2026 Conservative Convention, the appointment of an auditor, and the presentation of financial statements. A maximum of one out of every five directors on the board may be resident outside of the South Surrey – White Rock federal electoral district (up to 15 resident directors will serve a 2-year term and non-resident directors plus any additional resident directors elected in excess of 15 will serve a one-year term.) All directors are expected to attend EDA Board of Director meetings, actively participate in at least one EDA committee, volunteer on EDA events and in federal elections, as well as to support fully the Conservative Party of Canada and its candidates/members of parliament.
Members wishing to stand for election at our AGM/DSM for the position of director and/or delegate are required to provide a completed Director Affirmation Form and/or Delegate Nomination Form, respectively, before the election occurs. The two forms are available at the links below. We ask that director candidates please try to provide their completed two forms by Monday, October 27th, so that the membership status can be checked and so there is time to have your name printed on the paper AGM election ballot.
