Dear Friends,
As a former RCMP Inspector, MLA for Surrey-Tynehead, and Provincial Cabinet Minister, I am deeply passionate about British Columbia and Canada. This is the most important federal election in a generation, if not in our lifetime. Our standing as a nation, globally, has eroded in the past several years, and our leadership has been subject to ridicule.
To me, the choice in this election has become clear; Andrew Scheer, with the help of our local candidate, Kerry-Lynne Findlay, will restore the pride that we hold dear as British Columbians and Canadians, by governing with honesty, ethics, and accountability.
I have had the pleasure of connecting with Andrew Scheer several times, and I believe he is a man of true integrity. On a more local level, I’ve worked numerous times with Kerry-Lynne Findlay, and I am confident that she will be a strong advocate and truly represent our community and our values in Ottawa well; I consider her a dear friend.
As our family celebrates 50 years in this great nation, I reflect on how far we have come as a country. While we still have a ways to go, the fabric of Canada has suffered immeasurably over the last four years. We have gone backwards under the current leadership. I believe that only Canada’s Conservatives can get us back on track. Andrew Scheer has demonstrated that he will lead with sincerity and respect for all Canadians. I hope you will join me and vote Conservative on October 21st.
Sincerely,
Amrik Virk
