We need to put CANADA FIRST

This is why common sense conservatives are condemning President Trump’s massive, unfair, and unjustified tariffs on Canada’s already weak economy. Canada is our closest neighbour, greatest ally, and best friend to the United States. We share the longest defenseless borders and fought alongside Americans in two world wars, Korea and Afghanistan, where 158 of our brave men and women lost their lives helping the U.S. avenge the attacks on 9/11. There is no justification for this treatment.
Liberals need to put their partisan interests aside and call Parliament now to adopt a “Canada First” plan that will:

1. Take countermeasures by applying dollar-for-dollar tariffs to maximize the impact on American companies while minimizing the impact on Canadian consumers. This means we need to target American products that we can make ourselves, buy elsewhere, or do without. For example, we need to take retaliation measures against American steel and aluminum because Canadians can make these vital products at home.

2. Invest all tariff revenues in helping affected workers and businesses; Government must not keep a dime from these new revenues.

3. Urgently adopt a big good massive tax cut to support the economy, stop inflation and save and create jobs. Canada needs a massive tax cut on Canadian labor, investment, energy, housing construction and manufacturing. Liberals carbon tax and capital gains tax increases must be the first to be removed.

4. Abandon the Liberal Anti-Resource Act C-69 immediately and give the green light to job-creating projects such as LNG projects, pipelines, mines, factories and port expansions to overseas markets.

5. Establish a true free trade in the Canada by removing interprovincial barriers to help replace lost north-south exchanges with east-west exchanges and make us self-sufficient.

6. Rebuild our military and regain control of our borders to regain confidence in our partners, assert our sovereignty, protect our people and put Canada first.

We will protect our economy, defend our sovereignty, bring back production and bigger paychecks and we will never back down. We will put Canada first, now and always.
