Jasraj Singh Hallan was elected as the Member of Parliament for Calgary Forest Lawn in October 2019. Jasraj grew up in NE Calgary, graduated from Lester Pearson High School and has an accounting degree from SAIT. He has a certified Master Builder designation and ran a very successful homebuilding business. He and his wife still live in the NE and have 2 beautiful daughters and is a member of the Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration and also serves as the Deputy Shadow Minister for Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship.

 

 

The Honorable Kerry-Lynne Findlay MP

Kerry-Lynne Findlay served as the Minister of National Revenue, and previously as Associate Minister of National Defence, and Parliamentary Secretary to Justice. She also served as a member of several high-profile Cabinet committees including Treasury Board. Among other achievements, she was awarded the Golden Scissors Award in 2015 by the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) for leadership in cutting red tape for small business.  

Shortly after her election in October 2019, Kerry-Lynne was appointed as Shadow Minister for the Environment and Climate Change for the Official Opposition, serving in that capacity through October 2020 and in March of this year, Kerry-Lynne was named the Conservative Party’s representative on CANZUK relations. Since then, Kerry-Lynne has met with politicians and thought-leaders from across the four CANZUK nations, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, to build momentum for this visionary international alliance.

She also sits on the House of Commons Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights and as a lawyer and former administrative law judge on the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal, is very familiar with justice issues.

Kerry-Lynne lives in South Surrey with her husband, Brent. They are the parents of four children, and grandparents of three small boys and one girl. All four of Kerry-Lynne and Brent’s children are UBC graduates.
